1. Active กับ Passive ต่างกันอย่างไร
Active Voice เน้นประธานที่ลงมือทำ ส่วน Passive Voice
เน้นคนหรือสิ่งที่ได้รับการกระทำ โดยใช้โครงสร้าง Subject + be + V3

ข้อจำกัด: โดยทั่วไปสร้าง Passive ได้เฉพาะกริยาที่มีกรรม
(transitive verb) เช่น write a letter แต่กริยาอย่าง
arrive, sleep, happen ไม่มีกรรม จึงไม่เปลี่ยนเป็น Passive
- Easy Mali waters the plants. → The plants are watered by Mali. (ต้นไม้เป็นผู้รับการกระทำ)
- Medium Someone stole my bicycle. → My bicycle was stolen. (ไม่ทราบผู้ขโมย จึงละ by-agent)
- Hard The accident happened at noon. (happen ไม่มีกรรม จึงทำเป็น Passive ไม่ได้)
2. วิธีเปลี่ยน Active เป็น Passive
ทำ 4 ขั้น: (1) นำกรรมเดิมขึ้นเป็นประธาน
(2) เลือก be ให้ตรง tense และประธาน
(3) เปลี่ยนกริยาหลักเป็น V3
(4) เติม by + ผู้ทำ เฉพาะเมื่อจำเป็น
ตัวอย่างทีละขั้น
Active: The students clean the room.
- กรรมเดิม the room ขึ้นต้นประโยค
- Present Simple + ประธานเอกพจน์ → is
- clean เปลี่ยนเป็น V3 → cleaned
- Passive: The room is cleaned by the students.

- Easy Nina opens the windows. → The windows are opened by Nina. (are ตามประธานพหูพจน์)
- Medium Dad fixed the shelf. → The shelf was fixed by Dad. (Past Simple ใช้ was + V3)
- Hard She invited us. → We were invited by her. (us → we และ she → her)
3. Passive Voice ในกาลต่างๆ
กาลของประโยคแสดงที่รูปของ be ส่วนกริยาหลักคงเป็น V3:
is served, was served, has been served, will be served

สังเกต: Continuous ต้องมี being และ Perfect ต้องมี been
อย่าสลับกัน: is being checked แต่ has been checked
- Easy These bags are made in Thailand. (ข้อเท็จจริงในปัจจุบัน: are + V3)
- Medium The package has been delivered. (Present Perfect: has + been + V3)
- Hard The computers were being tested when we arrived. (การกระทำกำลังดำเนินอยู่ในอดีต)
4. การใช้และละ by-agent
เติม by + ผู้ทำ เมื่อผู้ทำนั้นสำคัญหรือช่วยให้ข้อมูลชัดเจน
แต่ละออกเมื่อไม่รู้ผู้ทำ ผู้ทำไม่สำคัญ หรือเข้าใจได้อยู่แล้ว

by กับ with: ใช้ by นำหน้าผู้กระทำ แต่ใช้ with
นำหน้าเครื่องมือ เช่น The bread was cut by Tom with a knife.
- Easy The song was composed by my teacher. (ระบุผู้แต่งเพราะเป็นข้อมูลสำคัญ)
- Medium The front door was left open. (ไม่ทราบว่าใครเปิดทิ้งไว้)
- Hard The mural was painted by local artists with brushes. (by = ผู้ทำ, with = เครื่องมือ)
5. Modal, Negative และ Question
Passive ใช้กับ Modal ได้ด้วยสูตร modal + be + V3
รูปปฏิเสธเติม not หลังกริยาช่วย และรูปคำถามย้ายกริยาช่วยไว้หน้าประธาน

หลัง Modal ต้องเป็น be ไม่ใช่ is/are:
must be completed ไม่ใช่

- Easy Seat belts must be worn. (must + be + V3)
- Medium The office will not be closed tomorrow. (not อยู่หลัง will)
- Hard Has the report been checked yet? (Present Perfect question: has + S + been + V3)
6. ข้อผิดพลาดที่พบบ่อย
ตรวจให้ครบ 3 จุด: มี be หรือไม่, be ตรงกับ tense และประธานหรือไม่,
และ กริยาหลักเป็น V3 หรือไม่

เช็กก่อนตอบข้อสอบ
- ประธานเป็นผู้ทำหรือผู้รับการกระทำ?
- ถ้าเป็นผู้รับ ให้หาโครงสร้าง be + V3
- ดูคำบอกเวลาเพื่อเลือกรูป be ที่ถูกต้อง
- ตรวจ V3 โดยเฉพาะกริยาไม่ปกติ เช่น written, built, sent, taken
- Easy The dishes are washed every evening. (มี are + V3 ครบ)
- Medium The new library will be opened next month. (อนาคตใช้ will be + V3)
- Hard The missing keys have not been found. (Perfect negative: have + not + been + V3)
