Basic is the core grammar series of this site. The 17 lessons are numbered because each one builds on the previous: it starts with the eight parts of speech, then articles, countable and uncountable nouns and quantifiers, moves on to sentence structure, word order and subject-verb agreement, and continues with sentence types, compound and complex sentences, tenses, modal verbs, gerunds, infinitives and participles, the many uses of to, active and passive voice, conditional sentences, question tags, relative clauses, and degrees of comparison.

Each lesson explains the rule in Thai, shows English examples in tables and short sections you can open one at a time, and ends with an 8–10 question quiz. The quiz explains every option, not only the correct one. It is written for beginners and lower-intermediate learners, and for anyone who needs a solid base before the Structure and Written Expression parts of TOEFL ITP®. Work through the lessons in order; if you already know a topic, skim it and go straight to its quiz to check yourself.
