1. Meaning

1. Too กับ Enough สื่ออะไร

too หมายถึง “มากเกินไป” จนเกิดปัญหาหรือทำบางอย่างไม่ได้ ส่วน enough หมายถึง “เพียงพอ” ตามความต้องการ จึงมักให้ผลเชิงบวกหรือเป็นกลาง

3. Enough อยู่หน้าคำนาม

เมื่อขยายคำนาม ให้ใช้ enough + noun เช่น enough time และ enough chairs ส่วนความหมาย “มากเกินไป” ใช้ too much + uncountable noun หรือ too many + plural countable noun

4. Too / Enough + to-infinitive

ใช้ too + adj/adv + to-V เมื่อระดับที่เกินไปขัดขวางการกระทำ และใช้ adj/adv + enough + to-V เมื่อระดับนั้นเพียงพอ หากต้องระบุผู้กระทำของ to-V ให้เติม for + person

ข้อสอบมักสลับตำแหน่งของ enough หรือหลอกให้ใช้ so แทน too จำว่า too...to มีความหมายเชิงอุปสรรค แต่ so...that ต้องตามด้วย clause
