The Structure task shows a sentence with a missing part and four options; you choose the one that completes the sentence correctly. It tests grammar under time pressure: subject-verb agreement, word order, word forms, gerunds and infinitives, connectors, inversion and the subjunctive. This section has 17 practice sets, mostly of 10 questions, arranged from basic to advanced. Some sets focus on one theme, for example the two meanings of to (infinitive versus preposition), noun-verb homonyms, or connectors.

The first 15 sets are divided into three difficulty levels. Level 1 (easy: sets 1–8 and 11) covers subject-verb agreement, noun and verb forms of the same word, longer sentences built on the same patterns, and the basic uses of to. Level 2 (medium: sets 9, 12 and 13) adds relative clauses, parallel structure and word forms, and to after verbs and adjectives such as refuse to and dedicated to. Level 3 (hard: sets 10, 14 and 15) covers inversion, the subjunctive, and to and other prepositions before noun phrases. Set 16 is a 30-question practice on connectors, and set 17 is a mixed exam-style set.

Practice tips

• Do the sets in order, or pick a theme such as the uses of to or connectors.
• If you find many mistakes on one topic, go back to the matching Basic or Short grammar lesson and then retry the set.

How to answer

• Read the sentence and decide what is missing, then choose the option that completes it correctly.
• Show all questions on one page, or switch to one question at a time.

How to check the answer

• Choose an answer, and its answer panel opens with the correct option, a Thai translation, key vocabulary, and an explanation of every option.
• You can also open the answer panel before answering.

How scoring works

• A question is scored when you choose an answer.
• If you open the answer panel first, that question is not scored.
• The score summary appears once you have answered every question, and lists what you got right.

คำแนะนำการฝึก

• เลือกทำตามลำดับ หรือเลือกตามหัวข้อ เช่น การใช้ to หรือคำเชื่อมก็ได้
• ถ้าพบว่าผิดมากในหัวข้อเดียว ให้กลับไปอ่านบทไวยากรณ์ Basic หรือ Short ที่ตรงกัน แล้วกลับมาทำชุดนี้ซ้ำ

วิธีการทำข้อสอบ

• อ่านประโยคและดูว่าขาดส่วนไหน แล้วเลือกตัวเลือกที่เติมแล้วประโยคถูกต้อง
• แสดงทุกข้อในหน้าเดียว หรือสลับเป็นทีละข้อได้

วิธีการเฉลย

• เมื่อเลือกคำตอบ แผงเฉลยของข้อนั้นจะเปิดแสดงตัวเลือกที่ถูก คำแปลไทย คำศัพท์สำคัญ และคำอธิบายทุกตัวเลือก
• หรือจะเปิดแผงเฉลยก่อนตอบก็ได้

วิธีการนับคะแนน

• ข้อที่เลือกคำตอบจะถูกนับคะแนน
• ถ้าเปิดแผงเฉลยก่อนตอบ ข้อนั้นจะไม่นับคะแนน
• สรุปคะแนนจะแสดงเมื่อตอบครบทุกข้อ และบอกข้อที่ตอบถูก
